Join Keyline as a Yard Supervisor and play a key role in driving our continued success. You'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our yard, as well as supervising and motivating the team that manages customer interactions.
Where Will You Be Working?
Keyline, Rockbeare Hill, Rockbeare, Exeter, EX5 2HB, is a thriving and expanding branch, with a team of 13 staff members and a fleet of 5 delivery vehicles. We also have a Tool Hire department, making this a great opportunity to join a growing team.
What will You be doing?
As a Yard Supervisor at Keyline, you will be responsible for:
- Manage yard operations and staff, including vehicle drivers
- Manage the yard team and process customer orders
- Load and unload customer and company vehicles, unload building products from supplier deliveries and book them into the branch warehouse
- Implement stock management in line with our health and safety policy
- Maintain a tidy and safe working environment at all times
- Provide excellent customer service, building strong relationships with customers

The ideal candidate will:
- Have the ability to provide great customer service
- Have experience in a supervisory role is preferred, but not essential
- Be physically active, as this role involves lifting heavy building materials
- Be a passionate and engaging leader, able to create a "one team" approach
- Have a friendly and outgoing personality, comfortable communicating face to face with customers
- Be adaptable, resilient, tenacious, with high energy levels
- Be someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
