We have a Branch Supervisor to come and join our Travis Perkins Wimbledon Branch on Weir Road, London SW19 8UG.  We are not looking for someone from the sector, we need transferable skills, exceptional sales and great customer service, along with your energy, drive and enthusiasm.  


The Wimbledon branch is a busy branch with a team of 15 staff managing a large customer footfall of around 150 customers per day. We also have a full Tool Hire department, Benchmarx showroom and a fleet of 3 vehicles (2 HGV's and 1 Van).


The working hours will be Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.00pm  and every other Saturday 8.00am - 12.00pm 

 

Our Branch Supervisors are an essential part of the branch team, sharing responsibility for a number for key areas throughout the branch and deputising for the Assistant Branch Manager in their absence.  As Branch Supervisor you will support both your Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager, and play a vital role in our continued success. With a natural flair for team work, you will enjoy taking responsibility and will be confident in taking on a variety of everyday challenges, while maintaining great customer and colleague relationships.

  • Our success is built on strong relationships with our colleagues and customers so it’s essential you deliver the highest standards of service.  

  • With your learned knowledge of the products and services we offer, you will be a pivotal contact for our customers, nurturing great relationships, understanding their needs in order to offer expert advice and recommending alternatives to profitably maximise the sale of goods.

  • You will be a confident sales person who can easily build relationships with key customers. 

  • Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that all our colleagues and customers leave the Branch safely, by adhering to all stay safe policies and procedures.


What experience do you need?

Previous experience within this industry is advantageous, but not essential.  We just need transferable skills - Sales Experience, Great Customer Service and Commercial Acumen.
