What you'll do
Hybrid working with travel to Bridgwater and Northampton
This is a unique opportunity to lead both core financial management and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities. You will be instrumental in ensuring financial accuracy, driving insightful performance analysis, supporting strategic decision-making, optimising financial systems, and fostering a high-performing management accountancy team.

Financial Management & Control: Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, implement strong internal controls, and coordinate budgeting and forecasting.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Accountable for all forecasting, budgeting, and annual strategic plan modelling. Lead the creation of financial data and presentations for group requirements, own key financial metrics, and manage financial risks and opportunities. Business partner with SLT/ELT and present key financials.

Systems & Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Finance Systems Analyst to identify opportunities for automation, reporting enhancements, and better utilisation of finance technology. Champion continuous improvement within the finance function.

Team Leadership & Development: Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Management Accountants and a Finance Systems Analyst. Set clear goals, manage workload, conduct performance reviews, and foster a collaborative culture.
