Data Manager - Sustainable Products

Data Analyst - Sustainable Products/LCA An exciting opportunity to influence and drive forward a clear, more sustainable future.

Location: Hybrid Midlands

What you’ll do

You will collect and collate data all relating to increasing our volume of sustainable products.

Working closely with suppliers and customers, you'll provide data and value added insights to our branch networks, product teams and our external suppliers.

Some accountabilities of the role:

Manage and own analytical projects; leveraging data from multiple sources including competitor matches. Shape and deliver key performance metrics which help the business understand and improve profitability, sales and customer appeal

Create and deliver insightful analysis which creates actionable insights to drive improved business performance

Use standardised project management tools / techniques to ensure all deadlines are actively managed, risks are documented and stakeholders communicated

Deliver and present papers for monthly steering groups that provide the senior team with information which is easily understood and can be used to drive action

Be a source of analytical support to the wider pricing team, being prepared to provide analytical training to develop the capabilities to those that require them

Continuously challenge current processes and recommend improvements to all aspects of pricing. Strive to improve processes and reduce time on data production so analysis becomes the key focus

Support the wider commercial function with the delivery of additional business initiatives when required

It would be great if you had experience in

Awareness of Life Cycle Assessments and experience in working with Sustainability teams.

Influencing stakeholders to engage with pricing processes or initiatives, including colleagues from other commercial teams

Leveraging large quantities of data so that timely and accurate analysis and reporting can presented in a user friendly fashion

Turning data into actionable insight, so the team is seen as an enabler within the business

Documenting and automating processes, so we can concentrate on value added activities

Managing the peak periods of workload in order to define and meet specific milestones
