Delivery Manager

As a Delivery Manager at Travis Perkins plc, you’ll play a pivotal role in the delivery of software products and services. Working closely with Agile development teams, product owners, and third-party partners, you’ll ensure projects are organised, efficient, secure, and aligned to the wider technology strategy.
You’ll bring structure, momentum, and clarity to technical projects — while inspiring cross-functional teams to deliver at pace.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of software projects, ensuring consistent ways of working and measurable performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and the wider business to scope and deliver high-quality products.
Ensure service and security considerations are embedded into all stages of delivery.
Provide clear leadership across a team of Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and third-party contributors.
Manage RAID logs, delivery plans, and cost estimations with accountability for successful execution.
Establish strong vendor relationships, aligning partners with delivery expectations and standards.
Drive continuous improvement through KPIs and delivery performance metrics.
Champion a delivery-focused mindset while contributing to the development of the delivery function.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll combine strategy, delivery, and leadership to influence both technical performance and business outcomes.
You’ll also have:
A degree in Computer Science (or similar) or equivalent industry experience.
A strong background in Agile delivery and software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.
Experience leading complex projects within large organisations, managing both internal and external teams.
Proven stakeholder management skills across all levels of business and technology.
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-tiered architecture.
The ability to influence, motivate, and lead others — with a resilient, adaptable mindset.
Excellent communication skills and confidence to represent delivery teams at senior levels
