At Travis Perkins we have an opportunity for a Executive Assistant to support our Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team for CCF. This role will be hybrid working from home and Northampton head offices, there may be a small amount of travel for this role.
What you’ll do
As the Executive Assistant for CCF, your days will be varied, ensuring the Managing Director and senior leaders' lives run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. You will be processing and reconciling invoices, submitting expenses, managing travel, hotels, venues and coordination for events, along with the organising of other essential commitments into their diaries. You will be carrying out crucial administrative duties, often to deadline and in line with the individual requirements of each director. Some travel will be required on an ad hoc basis, therefore a level of flexibility will also be required.
Some accountabilities of the role:
- Supporting the Managing Director in their day to day activities, managing his email inbox and ensuring he is prepared for all meetings and events
- Preparing presentations for board meetings and taking minutes, ensuring deadlines are met for board reports/type up correspondence and any minute-taking, so the appropriate documentation is prepared
- The role also involves specific project work as required to support the Managing Director including organising supplier and customer events
- HR support including:-
recruitment support raising vacancies and raising employee contracts
attend any appeal hearing grievances working alongside employee relations
expense management, team holiday approvals
- Being a support and contact to the MD and senior leadership team

You will also have:
- A high degree of competence in written communication and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills will be key for you to succeed in building strong stakeholder relationships
- Your excellent attention to detail will be utilised on a daily basis, within this varied PA opportunity, alongside your excellent IT skills. We use Google suite platform, but we can teach you
- You will be adept at positively influencing colleagues whilst being discrete and professional
