We are looking for an enthusiastic O2C and P2P accounting expert to help deliver our new Oracle cloud finance system.  It’s a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and career, while being at the heart of a fundamental step forward for the Travis Perkins Group.

We have a 9 month fixed term contract opportunity for a Finance Manager to join the Finance Modernisation team working in the Finance Operations workstream focused on Order to Cash and Cash and Banking while supporting the Procure to Pay  workstreams. You will work closely with the members of the Finance Operations team and Business to ensure that we achieve a successful implementation of the Oracle cloud finance solution. 

Location: Hybrid role with 1-2 days a week in Northampton. 

What you’ll do

Reporting into the Finance Operations lead, this is an excellent opportunity to help improve the way finance operates and supports the business. Bringing increased simplicity and control to processes and also transparency of financial performance to the wider business. You will have regular exposure to senior stakeholders and excellent visibility within the business.

Your key accountabilities will include:

• Defining future finance processes in conjunction with the finance teams across the group

• Day to day lead of the accounting elements of  the O2C and P2P workstream

• Delivering to the plan for implementation of the new system in conjunction with business resource

• Being a key point of contact for the accounting elements of O2C and P2P

• Flagging and working to resolve gaps and issues
