Finance Manager - Central Functions

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join the Travis Perkins PLC Central Functions Finance team. If you have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices with a commercial focus, as well as experience in business partnering, budgeting and reporting, then we want to hear from you! 

What you’ll do

The Finance Manager - Central Functions is responsible for the financial management of the group’s central functions, including monthly accounting, budgeting and forecasting, project accounting and reporting.

Some accountabilities of the role:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Central Functions Finance Team
- Business partner the central functions directors
- Prepare, analyse and present the monthly management accounts
- Develop and manage the company's budget
- Forecast financial performance
- Support central function teams with projects and ad hoc finance information
- Manage the group programmes budgets and tracking of performance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting and financial regulations
- Work with external auditors
- Provide financial advice to the company's management team
- Manage the team of Finance Business Partners and Finance Analyst

Is this you?

- CIMA or ACCA qualified
- Have post qualified experience 
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Experience in budgeting and financial reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
