We are now welcoming applications for an experienced and proactive Hire Operations Manager to drive success across our branches in the South East.
What you will do
Hire represents an integral component of our business structure, supporting profitability across some of the largest branches in our network. With accountability for a multi-million pound AOP, you'll carry the responsibility of ensuring that Hire remains a key contributor to our overall profitability.
As the Hire Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for leading our Hire function to deliver inspiring commercial results through optimal management of our equipment and customer relationships. You'll excel in creating an efficient and effective Hire function, delivering impeccable standards to surpass every customer's expectations.

- Operational excellence with regard to revenue, stock utilisation, and margin
- Evidenced achievement against a challenging commercial and operational improvement plan, tackling underperformance and coaching team members
- Identifying and delivering creative solutions to adapt against market variations
- Embed wholly into the business' culture to lead with visibility and credibility

- Successful Hire Management experience, to grant credibility to your knowledge and advice
- A data-driven professional with an analytical mind and an eye for compliance
- Meticulously organised, capable of multi-tasking in an agile environment
- A visible leader, with a flexible leadership style to suit different teams, environments, and situations
- An influential communicator, confident in presenting to senior stakeholders in a range of environments
- Confidence in delegation, managing your workload optimally to prioritise opportunities for improvement
- Committed and tenacious, with patience for the compound interest of small/local implementations
