What will you do? Information Security Operations Manager

The Information Security Operations Manager reports to the Head Of Information Security, driving the strategy and roadmap of the operational aspects of information security,  and is responsible for the day to day management of the SecOps deliverables,management of direct reports in the SecOps team and management of the 3rd party SOC relationship to ensure effective operational cyber security capabilities within the TP group.

Some accountabilities of the role: 

• Provide leadership and direction to the SecOps team, plus day to day task management, performance management and development.

• Ensure the effective monitoring and response capabilities in response to Cyber Security incidents and ensure a timely response to those incidents. Including management of the 3rd party SOC.

• Ensure that the TP groups' vulnerability detection processes, technologies and procedures are maintained to provide effective threat identification. 

• Maintaining the technical aspects of the vulnerability management programme for Cloud, Websites and on premise infrastructure. Including the ability to report on compliance requirements such as PCI-DSS and Cyber Essentials

• Maintain the teams proactive responsibilities such as BAS Testing and Threat hunting. 

• Support delivery of programmes and projects across the group to ensure effective onboarding of information security controls. 

• Liaise with the Governance Risk and compliance  team to ensure technical controls and monitoring requirements are implemented  in TP digital assets. 

• Publish and maintain SecOps and incident reports for leadership and management on an ongoing basis, including KPIs that give clarity and enable us to hold teams to account across the organisation.
