Project Pricing Manager

As a Project Pricing Manager, you’ll act as a key commercial link between the business and major subcontractors, supporting the delivery of competitive strategic pricing across a portfolio of high value projects.
Working closely with Key Account Directors, branches and supply chain partners, you’ll play a crucial role in securing profitable opportunities and building a strong future pipeline.
This is a highly collaborative and commercially focused role where your ability to influence, analyse and coordinate will directly impact business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Pricing & Account Support
Collaborate with Key Account Directors (KADs) to prepare, review and submit competitive quotations for key customers and projects.
Manage the pricing lifecycle for approximately 15 key customers within the South West region.
Drive sales growth and profitability through effective pricing strategies.
Proactively follow up on submitted quotes to improve conversion rates and provide market feedback.
Project Tracking & Pipeline Management
Track and manage a pipeline of major projects, typically valued at £15m+ across multiple regional branches.
Work closely with Branch Managers to identify and prioritise key opportunities.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of future opportunities by monitoring projects from inception through to tender.
Use market intelligence to inform pricing strategies and business decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Networking
Build strong relationships with manufacturers, main contractors and internal teams.
Lead regular structured meetings with supply chain partners to align on strategic objectives.
Focus on driving growth across key product categories, including drywall, insulation, and ceilings.
Act as a central point of contact between National Project Tracking, Regional Sales leadership and branch teams.
Process & Governance
Manage the administration of all agreed key projects within the pricing framework.
Identify and allocate opportunities within project tracking systems to relevant stakeholders.
Highlight new business opportunities to the Regional Sales Director for resource planning.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of data within project tracking tools to support forecasting and decision making.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, estimating, or sales.
Experience working with large scale projects or within the construction/materials sector is highly desirable.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence decision making.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Confident communicator with strong relationship building skills.
Proactive and results driven mindset with a focus on delivering growth.
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
