About the region

CCF's central cluster represents one of the busiest regions within our structure, presenting the strategic complexity of geographical spread, our biggest branches, and a dynamic market. Together, this creates an unique operating challenge, necessitating a proactive strategist, a calm critical thinker, and a data driven leader to safeguard, future-proof, and develop our largest team of colleagues.

The CCF Central Cluster covers branches across Birmingham, Northampton, Norwich, Nottingham, Peterborough, and Colchester.


What you will do

Reporting into CCF's Regional Director, you will be a driven and customer-focused sales leader to manage and inspire our external sales team, ensuring CCF continues to be recognised as the leading supplier in our industry.

As the Regional Sales Director, you look to progress our business performance by identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategic plans to drive sales and profit growth. Holding accountability for Sales performances across the central cluster, you will build a collaborative, reliable, and high performing team, setting clear objectives built on integrity, safety, and continuous improvement. As the senior leader of regional sales, you will develop strong and influential working relationships with Branch Managers and branch sales teams, developing the wider culture to maximise opportunities to grow our market share.

Our business model is built around a customer-first mindset, ensuring that our colleagues go above and beyond to ensure a positive and fruitful interaction with our key, trade, and private customers. As the Regional Sales Director, you'll lead by example to role model positive sales mindsets, open transparent conversation, and customer interactions that leave our competitors in our wake.

Through your high performance, you'll play a crucial role in the ongoing success of the CCF and Travis Perkins plc businesses.


Who you are

  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and drive growth.
  • Demonstrated management experience with the ability to lead, inspire, and develop large regional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build relationships at all levels.
  • Highly organised, with strong planning and prioritisation skills for self and others.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence positive outcomes.
  • Confident in producing and interpreting financial and statistical information to support decision-making.
  • Agile in approach, able to adapt styles to suit varying situations, stakeholders, customers, and colleagues.
