We are looking for a Regional Sales Office Manager to manage a ledger of pivotal UK customers in the region and oversee the running of a sales office based in Norwich. You may not know much about Travis Perkins, but if you look a bit closer you might be surprised, despite our size, we have the values of a family run business and the mindset and ambition of a forward thinking Company. 


This unique hybrid role (regional and office based) will allow you to lead a team of 2 branch based colleagues but will provide the opportunity to work closely with some key clients with involvement in tendering agreements, Regional frameworks and exploring data and analytics to ensure your sales energies are targeted in the right direction. Hours - Monday to Friday no weekends! Approximately 50% of your time will be spent out in the region visiting customers, the remaining 50% will be branch based.

What will I be doing?

No one day is the same as the next in TP branch life. You will learn our business and our products with our training and guidance and then ultimately you will oversee the full sales operation in our New Sales Office. This is coupled with the opportunity to have involvement with our larger accounts too, nurturing accounts and driving new business.


Managing a ledger of key customers to achieve all targeted metrics through physical and virtual visits, you will also facilitate the smooth running of a sales office function generating in excess of £2.5m.  Coaching, leading and mentoring 2 negotiators you will be responsible for setting targets and following group wide initiatives.  This role will work closely with the regional sales team (and support sub region branches) with target accounts and will administer and onboard new accounts for the region.  


What experience do you need?

This is a key customer facing sales driven role, you need the ability to provide great customer service, have demonstrable sales experience gained ideally within a similar environment.  With lots of drive, confidence, enthusiasm  and passion, we can teach you the rest.  You will have previous experience in a similar sales role (managing local and regional agreements) with great customer service skills and the ability to relate to lots of different people. Self motivated, enthusiastic and organised, you will also have good numerical and IT skills. Full product training will be provided.
