The opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sr. business analyst to join our group technology department, taking an essential role in our growing business analysis practice team.

What you’ll do

Working closely with the project and portfolio teams, you will take responsibility for: 

• Working on a range of work (small change through to large scale projects) in the Business Analyst role.

• You will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and business by providing excellent analysis to recognise and solve business problems and realise the benefits of investing in new business opportunities.

• You will be responsible for understanding requirements for change within typically complex and high-risk projects.

• You will be comfortable challenging and influencing senior stakeholders' strategic thinking.

• You will drive the identification, authoring and communication of the requirements across the teams to the agreed standards of quality and timeliness. 

• You will be essential in continuously improving the business analysis practice and related processes.

To achieve this successfully, you will be expected to develop and nurture close working relationships with other technology teams and key stakeholders across the business.

You are...

You are skilled in all aspects of Business Analysis, including requirements/user story definition and management, stakeholder management, business process improvement, analytical visualisation and modelling, understanding of business change, and facilitation. And of course, excellent communication skills are a must.

• You are someone who has knowledge of IT, but a business focus. 

• You are approachable yet able to challenge and drive consensus. 

• You’re always curious and eager to learn, conscientious, organised and decisive. 

• You demand quality from yourself and your team and are able to work independently. 

• You appreciate autonomy and relish growing yourself and your team. 

• You always want to change things for the better.

• You thrive in an agile engineering environment yet you’re equally at home in large change programmes.
