Yard Sales Assistant - Aberystwyth
Join our friendly and hard-working team as a Yard Sales Assistant. You’ll be on the front line, dealing with customers who visit our yard. As part of the branch team, you’ll play a vital role in our continued success by delivering first-class service every day.
What will I be doing?
No two days are the same in a Travis Perkins branch, but here are some of the key things you’ll be involved in:
- Building strong relationships with customers by providing helpful, friendly service – you’ll likely get to know many of them by name.
- Working outside, processing customer orders, loading and unloading both customer and company vehicles.
- Unloading building products from supplier deliveries and accurately booking them into the branch warehouse.
- Operating a forklift (experience is great, but don’t worry – full training is provided).
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment at all times, with safety as your top priority.
What skills do you need?
This is a customer-facing role, so the main thing we’re looking for is the ability to provide great service – we can teach you the rest.
