We at Benchmarx are part of the well known Travis Perkins Group and this opportunity is based in our Shrewsbury branch. We offer high quality range of kitchens and joinery products backed up by excellent service.  But what really sets us apart is our company culture and family values, we put our colleagues and customers first at all times! 

Our working hours Monday-Friday 7.30am - 5.00pm and every other Saturday 8.00am-12.00pm.

What will I be doing?

No one day is the same as the next in Benchmarx branch life, but here are a few pointers:

• Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can help coach a team to deliver the highest standards of service.  

• With your learned knowledge of the products and services we offer, you will be a pivotal contact for our customers, nurturing great relationships, understanding their needs in order to offer expert advice and recommending alternatives to meet their individual needs and maximise the sale of goods.

• Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that all our colleagues and customers leave the Branch safely, by adhering to all stay safe policies and procedures.

• Being commercially aware, you will support the Branch Manager in managing all aspects of a Branch and business.

What experience do you need?

You don't need to come from our sector, although it would be advantageous, but its not essential. It doesn't matter what sector you come from, we just need transferable skills - inspirational leadership, operational management, sales experience, great customer service and commercial acumen.
