Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Data Administrator who will report into the Data Operations Team Manager.  The Individual will be responsible for analysing and maintaining information ensuring that any changes made are coordinated and accurate on multiple systems.  You will have strong attention to detail and be able to work with multiple systems, interrogating data and identifying anomalies.

They will also assist with a number of data elements on behalf of Group Data Management throughout a planned business implementation. They will also maintain data quality initiatives, rules and procedures.

The Data Administrator will demonstrate the ability to work in a timely and efficient manner whilst supporting the reputation of the Department as a Centre of Excellence delivering changes accurately and efficiently. They will work closely with IT development and engineering teams to help deliver functionality to support the day to day operations of Group Data Management

Main Duties

  • To ensure all data is accurate and up to date in multiple systems

  • Interrogate and carry out first line data quality checks

  • Liaising with data providers and suppliers for missing data

  • Flag anomalies identified

  • To ensure all product, Pricing and commercial information is up to date

  • Support the wider group data team

  • Identify areas of improvement in systems and processes

  • Develop close working relationships with Key Stakeholders

Person Specification

  • Experience of data management; data input and administration

  • Experience of dealing with customers and suppliers

  • Ability to manage own time and to prioritise multiple tasks

  • Organised and accurate with attention to detail

  • Ability to meet strict deadlines

  • Works well in a team and involved in team discussions; confident and able to ask questions if actions and outputs are not clear

  • Drive to understand the impact of changes being made on the wider business

Essential Skills

  • Competent in use of Google applications, Sheets, Docs, Mail

  • Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Understanding of ERP Systems

Desirable but not Essential

  • Basic Sql Server

  • Talend ETL
