What’s the role about

As a Hire Operations Manager, you’ll lead and support a team of hire professionals across your region. Your main goal? To help your teams deliver brilliant service, grow sales, and be the go-to hire partner for the best builders in town.

From managing equipment and improving operations to building great customer relationships and coaching colleagues – you’ll be at the heart of making it all happen.

What will you be doing

• Driving strong commercial results and supporting teams to hit revenue and profit targets

• Creating and delivering sales and customer plans across your area

• Coaching teams to provide excellent customer service every time

• Making sure our hire stock and equipment are well managed and used efficiently

• Helping to improve how we work by using data, KPIs, and customer feedback

• Working closely with Branch Managers, Regional teams and Sales to grow our hire business

• Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues

• Promoting a strong safety-first culture in everything you do

What are we looking for

• Experience leading or supporting multi-site teams (hire or trade sector experience ideal)

• Strong understanding of sales, service, and operational performance

• A natural leader and coach who enjoys helping others grow

• Confident using data to make decisions and drive results

• Great communication and relationship-building skills

• A hands-on, solution-focused approach with a commercial mindset
