What’s the role about
As a Hire Operations Manager, you’ll lead and support a team of hire professionals across your region. Your main goal? To help your teams deliver brilliant service, grow sales, and be the go-to hire partner for the best builders in town.
From managing equipment and improving operations to building great customer relationships and coaching colleagues – you’ll be at the heart of making it all happen.
What will you be doing
Driving strong commercial results and supporting teams to hit revenue and profit targets
Creating and delivering sales and customer plans across your area
Coaching teams to provide excellent customer service every time
Making sure our hire stock and equipment are well managed and used efficiently
Helping to improve how we work by using data, KPIs, and customer feedback
Working closely with Branch Managers, Regional teams and Sales to grow our hire business
Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues
Promoting a strong safety-first culture in everything you do
What are we looking for
Experience leading or supporting multi-site teams (hire or trade sector experience ideal)
Strong understanding of sales, service, and operational performance
A natural leader and coach who enjoys helping others grow
Confident using data to make decisions and drive results
Great communication and relationship-building skills
A hands-on, solution-focused approach with a commercial mindset
