The Role

As an Import Agent, you'll sit at the heart of Travis Perkins Group's supply chain, processing import and export declarations through our in-house system, managing customs warehouse transactions, and ensuring every shipment clears compliantly and on time. You'll be a key link between our category teams, supply chain, warehouse operations, and external freight forwarders.

What you'll be doing:

• Processing and managing import documentation and declarations through our in-house system
• Completing customs warehouse import transactions for group shipments
• Collaborating with category, supply chain, warehouse and branch teams to resolve issues quickly
• Managing relationships with freight forwarders to keep clearances running smoothly
• Maintaining accurate records of all cleared shipments and updating internal reporting
• Ensuring ongoing compliance with HMRC requirements and correct commodity classifications

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year completing import/export declarations
• Experience in air, road or ocean movements
• Strong administrative and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office / Excel
• Excellent attention to detail
