What you’ll do

Lead Analysts and Senior Analysts within the iHosting team provides service, second line and third line support to both internal and external system users of all TP IT applications, databases, operating system platforms, networks and hardware/devices. The primary skills required within the Unix team are HP-UX.

The team is also responsible for the smooth running of all infrastructure within the Group’s data centres. This includes storage (including backups), hardware configurations, operating system patching, system monitoring and performance etc.

Any applicants must be available to work on a 24x7x365 out of business hours on-call rota

The Unix team support the HP Superdome with a number of partitions running Rocket’s Universe software on an HP-UX operating system. Backups are a mixture of NetApp snapshots and HP’s Data Protector software.
