Active Directory Governance Administrator

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Microsoft Active Directory Enterprise Administrator to join the Travis Perkins Group overseeing all Active Directory activity from daily administration and processes as well as projects and or any other AD related major undertakings.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Serve as the Domain Enterprise Administrator for the companies Microsoft Active Directory domain sites and services undertaking governance, standardisation and compliance of the overall service.

• Assists with the  management and evaluation of any AD related projects through planning to completion incorporating best practice methodology that accounts for the overall welfare and manageability of the Domain.

• Research and Identify areas for change that will strengthen security, avoid and or reduce risk and improve customer service efficiencies as well as the day to day manageability of the domain.

• Performing assistance with problem solving and troubleshooting at the Systems Engineer level with exceptional communications and technical writing skills.

• Assist with the development and maintenance of Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPO), accounts, and security groups and any other applicable object using best practice guidance and management.

• Assists with work coordination and training and provides guidance to peers as appropriate that incorporates best practice and compliance.

• Develop and nurture relationships with internal support, development, project and architect teams responsible for the maintenance, support and day to day running of Active Directory.

What do I need to have?

We are looking for experience with Active Directory Support experience of at least 3 years. Basic level understanding of GPO’s, Security Groups, and Accounts.

The job holder must possess sound analytical and problem solving capabilities with particular attention to best practice and current standards such as GDPR. Technical familiarity with implementing, supporting and managing AD Sites and Services environment is essential. Finally it's essential you must be familiar with supporting and managing AD Sites and Services environment.
