Administrator (Supply Chain and Distribution)
£Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits/Incentives
Location: Fradley Park, Lichfield


We, at Tile Giant have an exciting and varied opportunity for a Supply Chain Administrator to join our dynamic Commercial/Supply Chain Team based at our Tile Giant Head Office and Distribution Centre.


Using your strong administration and organisational skills, you will optimise product availability and stock levels so that all sales opportunities can be realised, whilst working within stock budgets. Your strong stakeholder management and communication skills will be utilised on a daily basis, as you will be the first point of call for suppliers and internal stakeholder departments in regards to product supply queries.


Key responsibilities

  • Analyse sales, identifying and reacting to fluctuations and trends,monitoring and valuation of stock levels.

  • To identify and resolve any supplier queries.

  • To control stock ordering through Vendor Managed Inventory and to identify and implement improvements to logistics, stock turn, availability and cost controls.

  • Arranging shipping and delivery of orders,chasing and escalating issues with supply or delivery

  • To analyse root cause analysis (e.g. availability, quality, slow-moving stock) and suggest resolution of these issues through problem solving and solution design

  • Establish sound working relationships with contacts at suppliers to achieve optimum stock holding, service levels and financial considerations.
