Ever thought of being a Kitchen Designer? You don't need to come from our sector, or have product knowledge, we will provide you with all the training and development you need.
We are looking for an apprentice contract sales kitchen designer to join our team of specialists and learn from our experienced teams. Ideally we are looking for someone in the Northampton/ Birmingham area however the role will be hybrid so location is not a major issue. You will be required to travel for training and development purposes and for the first two weeks you will be training in the Ashford office in Kent.
Hours - Monday - Friday 8am-5.00pm - No weekends
What’s in it for you?
A market leading induction and onboarding, we will provide you with Computer Aided Design (CAD) training, all the product knowledge, support and development you need, to become a successful Kitchen Designer.
A 12 month Apprenticeship programme, pulling together CAD training, inspiration design and product knowledge training to provide our valued customers with the best possible service. Upon completion, you will be rewarded with a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Furniture Design.
Our Apprenticeships are focused on your development and factor study time into your working week, so you can achieve your qualification without affecting your work-life balance. We provide you with a fantastic support network through; 1:1 coaching, mentoring and technical and skills training to enable you to progress your career with us.

What experience do you need?
You don't need previous industry experience, full training will be given.
You will need to be well organised and self motivated, with a hunger to learn and grow.
You’ll be methodical and tenacious in your approach be meticulous in terms of planning
You’ll have great communication skills and be able to talk to a diverse set of individuals
You’ll have a friendly and outgoing personality, with the drive and energy to succeed, being a strong self starter you will also enjoy working collaboratively with your colleagues
What will I be doing?
You will become part of the Benchmarx contract sales design team and will be responsible for designing, quoting and producing presentation packs to suit the customers' needs whilst adhering to deadlines.
At contract sales we deal with large scale newbuilds, developments, housing associations and local authorities.
You will be working closely with our sales team and project managers to provide great customer service from estimation through to delivery.
