This is a regionally based role. You will have access to an office near to your home location and will operate across a number of training facilities within the region.
Apprenticeships are evolving and as an employer provider, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality training and support to all of our learners. In 2017, we started our work to launch new programmes across all career channels in the Group. These educationally linked programmes are offered at entry level right through to degree level and will offer best in class learning and development to help our colleagues achieve their career ambitions.
As part of this vision, we’re looking for inspiring and enthusiastic individuals to join us in this newly created role. As an Apprentice Facilitator, you will facilitate the workshops for cohorts of colleagues and Managers on a year long development journey.
In a typical week, you will need to be able to:
Credibly lead a high energy workshops and flexibly respond to learners, recognising levels of engagement in the room with a wide range of colleagues
Present key learning points succinctly and clearly, and then assess understanding
Be credible in a wide range of subject areas including
Sales and customer experience
Personal effectiveness and development
Key management skills
Safety
Project Management
Systems and processes
Challenge and provide developmental feedback in a ‘live’ group environment, in a way that is accepted and actionable
Take a holistic perspective on all the modules in a programme to ensure that learning is linked and their development builds throughout the programme
Support and mentor candidates that are completing development programmes (working alongside the Apprentice Mentors); stretching the high flyers and supporting the less able learners
Ensure the quality of delivery remains consistent and meets Group Standards
Work with Programme Design Leads to feedback relevant changes required to material and programme content to improve its effectively in application and identify any gaps or delivery improvements.
To excel in this position, you’ll have experience of facilitating workshops at both colleague and management level, with an engaging delivery style that succeeds in holding the attention of the learners. Our Apprenticeship team and programmes are evolving so you’ll need the ability to quickly adapt workshops to emerging needs. You’ll also be used to working as part of a large team.
Within this role, you will be expected to deliver 3 days per week with 2 days prep.
