Assistant Commercial Services Manager 

Location: Northampton

We’ve huge ambitions for 2020 and beyond, and we’re on the lookout for you to join us as an experienced, commercially minded Assistant Commercial Services Manager.  Working in our Group Sales team, managing the relationship with the Group’s Top 50 customers. You will be someone who is passionate about our customers and the service we provide and who has the ability to build relationships  with customers and internal stakeholders across the Group.

What do we want?

You will have previous experience of leading a team, dealing directly with buyers and suppliers, pricing building materials and managing tenders.  You will also have an understanding of our product range and the margin improvement process.

You’ll be someone who’s enthusiastic, resilient and resourceful, with a sharp eye for identifying new opportunities and a passion for excellence. Additionally, being well-organised and having exceptional planning skills goes without saying, as you will be responsible for meeting our valued customer expectations.

What you’ll be doing

As an Assistant Commercial Services Manager you will act as an influencer and leader for the Commercial team, ensure a full library database of relevant corporate information and pricing is up to date can be used for the tender process or presentations on short notice. 

We’re looking for a dynamic individual who enjoys managing and developing customer proposals,  carrying out pricing reviews and providing management and leadership to the wider team when needed. Your strong interest in driving solutions, increasing customer dependency by providing industry leading multi brand service and supply solutions will allow us to continue to WOW our customers and drive loyalty.
