We are looking to recruit an Assistant Company Secretary to join an established, busy team.  You will work closely with other members of the team to promote good corporate governance practice, regulation, Group policy governance and deliver efficient administration of the Group’s legal entities and share schemes.  

What you’ll do

This role will provide support and advice on corporate governance, statutory regulation and the company law matters as well as share schemes support. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking for an interesting and varied role.

Listed Company compliance including supporting the AGM, preparation of the Annual Report and ensuring compliance with Listing, Disclosure and Transparency Rules. Also the delivery of services to Shareholders. You will be involved in project work including the current company rationalisation program
Oversee the administration of share schemes and develop share scheme processes and procedures to reflect best practice and improve efficiency. Ensure continuous improvement in the delivery and communication of share schemes, ensuring available technology is fully utilised.
Is this you?

You will have previous Company Secretarial experience, be excellent at communicating on all levels and can provide exceptional customer service. It is important that you can as part of a team as well as  Independently

You will also be highly organised, motivated, resilient  and happy working within a fast paced Environment. 

Along with the above, you’ll also need:
  • To hold an ICSA qualification or equivalent
  • Listed company experience
  • Strong proven technical and analytical skills
  • To deliver complex messages in a simple and creative way
  • Strong project management, planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • A tenacious and persistent approach with a focus on developing yourself and others
  • The ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills and attention to detail.
