We are looking to recruit an Assistant General Manager to join our distribution centre in Northampton...

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Profit and Loss account for distribution service of  a FTSE 250 business

• Management of warehouse operations & 3rd Party service providers

• Create a working environment that is genuinely committed to ensuring “everyone returns home safely at the end of each day, every day”

• Create and manage an excellent working environment that provides security, consistency and reliability for the company and enjoyment, opportunity, development and learning in a safe environment for all staff

• Develop a culture of continuous improvement and demonstrate year on year improvement

• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards

• Ensure the ongoing critical review of plant, processes and equipment and establish a best practice approach to logistics technology
