Bathroom Showroom Sales Assistant/Designer  - Plumbing and Heating Division

Permanent
Location: Finchley Road

Competitive Salary + bonus + benefits

Hours between Monday - Friday 0800-1700 + Saturday 0800-1600


As one of the fastest growing plumbing and heating suppliers in the UK, we are currently recruiting for a Showroom Sales Assistant for our brand new Showroom opening in Finchley Road. The perfect bathroom takes planning!  It requires specialist knowledge, an understanding of the possibilities, a creative flair and the passion to make it a reality. At City Plumbing Supplies our Showroom Sales Assistants and Managers are the experts that help our trade customers achieve this time and again.

Role Purpose


A well presented, credible and professional person who is required to support the Showroom Sales Manager to achieve and exceed sales targets in the bathroom showroom by providing an excellent service to both trade and retail customers whilst ensuring optimum margin levels are achieved through the use of Group preferred suppliers.


Principle Accountabilities:


    To support the Showroom Sales Manager in achieving/exceeding showroom sales targets.

    Ensure optimum margins are achieved through the control of customer discounting and the use of Group preferred suppliers with Iflo products always being actively promoted.

    To maintain high showroom standards and ensure all customers receive excellent service. It is important that the Showroom Sales Assistant has a high regard for both the customer and the sale.

    To create and maintain a loyal customer base through a continuous proactive approach, building rapport with customers and generating new and repeat business.

    Build and maintain a robust and regular trade customer base by the frequent use and upkeep of Merlin and all other forms of customer information.

    To provide a first class CAD bathroom design service, with close attention to detail, whilst ensuring that products offered are in line with Group preferred suppliers.

    Ensure that all quotations, when raised, are followed up.

    To ensure all customer orders are dealt with efficiently and manage their expectations regarding timescales. Ensure all deliveries are made to the customer in a timely fashion and are complete and correct.

    Deal with customer issues to resolution, including returns and damages to prevent dead stock accumulation.

    To promote a professional company image by ensuring the showroom presentation is first class.

    Assume extra responsibilities as required in the absence of the Showroom Sales Manager.
