Are you an experienced Supervisor, who is Sales focused and understands the need for Customer Excellence?

We are looking for a Branch Supervisor to join our team at Devonshire Road, Cambridge CB1 2BJ

Our Cambridge branch is what we call a Flagship branch, with 33 colleagues, a Super Centre Tool Hire, a Plumbing department and 8 delivery vehicles.  This is a well established  successful branch with a fun and professional environment, the branch has many years experience between the colleagues, so you will be in safe hands. 

Hours - Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5.00pm , 1 in 2 Saturdays

What will I be doing?

No one day is the same as the next in TP branch life, but here are a few pointers:
  • Our success is built on strong relationships with our colleagues and customers so it’s essential you deliver the highest standards of service.  
  • It would great if you had some experience within Transport as you will be responsible for 5 HGV drivers and 1 van driver 
  • With your learned knowledge of the products and services we offer, you will be a pivotal contact for our customers, nurturing great relationships, understanding their needs in order to offer expert advice and recommending alternatives to profitably maximise the sale of goods.
  • You will be a confident sales person who can easily build relationships with key customers. 
  • Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that all our colleagues and customers leave the Branch safely, by adhering to all stay safe policies and procedures.

What experience do you need?

Previous experience within transport or builder merchants is advantageous, but not essential.

It doesn't matter what sector you come from, we just need transferable skills such as, Supervisory Experience, Sales Experience and Customer Service.
