Business Developer - Cambridge, Devonshire Road

Due to growth plans we are now recruiting for a Business Developer in our Cambridge Branch on Devonshire Road.  If you love talking to customers both on the phone and face to face, then this role could be for you!  You don't need to come from our sector or know our products, we are looking for someone that enjoys working in a team, has lots of energy and enthusiasm and has a flair for providing great customer service. 

Our Cambridge branch is what we call a Flagship branch, with 33 colleagues, a Super Centre Tool Hire, a Plumbing department and 8 delivery vehicles.  This is a well established  successful branch with a fun and professional environment, the branch has many years experience between the colleagues, so you will be in safe hands.

Working hours - Our working hours also offer a great work life balance - our branch is open from Monday to Friday 7.00am - 5pm and every Saturday 8am - 12pm.  We are open to flexible working hours - please note that our colleagues only work 2 Saturday in 4, this is a must.  This can be discussed at interview stage.

What will I be doing? No one day is the same as the next in TP branch life, we are a trade-focused business, so a large part of your day will involve working directly with our customers and creating a personalised experience - Here’s a few pointers now that you completed your on-boarding and induction.

• You’ll handle requests via the phone/email, including those from some of our larger customers, providing information on our products, preparing quotes and helping each customer with their purchase, taking our sales from good to great.
• Attracting new customers through answering calls and chasing potential leads. 
• Supporting other team members with the day to day in branch
• Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, by adhering to all stay safe policies and procedures.
