Travis Perkins is currently looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow and develop our  Regional House Builder relationships. It is a great and exciting role for someone that is looking for that next challenging opportunity!

What you’ll do

As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the growth and development of the Regional House Builder sector. You will develop relationships at an owner or board level and ensure these relationships are strengthened by involving the appropriate departments from the Travis Perkins business to achieve our goals and objectives.

Act as the key strategic contact for the client by coordinating all activities on behalf of Travis Perkins to create value and enhance the overall customer experience. You will manage, develop and work with the various departments from Travis Perkins to optimise our collective efforts within this market segment. It will be important for you to ensure effective communication channels are established between our customers and our supporting activities. Whilst our focus is on our customer relationship, we also believe that our suppliers are as equally important, by ensuring they have a platform to offer the best to our clients, through innovation and adding value.

Is this you?

To be selected in this role you will come from an external sales background and have proven history in winning new business, ideally within the house building market. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills with a strong networking ability. Customer focussed, good negotiator and sound commercial awareness will help you strive within this role.
