Are you looking to take your first step into a career in Buying? Do you have drive and ambition and aspire to work in a dynamic, commercial business? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!

As a Buying or Category Assistant at Keyline you will play a vital role in being the first point of contact for our branches and suppliers, supporting our Category Managers in ensuring we have the right range of products for our customers at the right gross margin profitability, securing the maximum amount of funding from our suppliers to support that range.

What you’ll do
Utilising your great communication skills, you will ensure requests and queries from our branches are dealt with quickly and efficiently. You’ll have an eye for detail, ensuring accurate data is provided to help us understand the trading performance of our categories and customers. A great team player, we will need you to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to deliver commercial projects across the business, as well as ensuring our product descriptions, images, prices and data is accurate and customer focused.

Is this you?
Being a graduate or entry level opportunity, previous experience isn’t essential. We just need you to be great with numbers, sharp with data and able to balance lots of different tasks at the same time! You will also need the confidence to build relationships, be prepared to work at pace and most of all not be afraid to get stuck in.
