We have a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in a career in buying. Joining our teams as a Commercial Category Assistant, you will be a valued part of the Commercial Department providing support to the Category Manager.
See your product through its journey from its original source, anywhere in the world, right through to it being put onto the shelves in one of our stores
Adopt responsibility for one of our varied product lines
Daily interaction with suppliers
Creating information to go onto our product packaging
Conduct market analysis to see what our customers want
What we are looking for?
A driven, motivated and energetic personality
You will need to be great with numbers and sharp with data
Strong excel skills
Not be afraid to challenge the status quo
Successfully build relationships with all levels in the working environment
Be able to work in a fast paced environment where no day is the same
Manage working under pressure
Some experience within a similar field
Educated to degree level (desirable)
