We, at Travis Perkins have a opportunity for you to join us, if you are interested in developing your career within Category Management. Joining our dynamic team as a Category Assistant, you will be a valued part of the Category Team specialising in the Landscaper & Groundworker customer cell. You will provide administration and organisational support to the Category Management team, to ensure the delivery of customer category cell targets and objectives..

Key Accountabilities:

- Liaising with suppliers, branches and internal stakeholders,as you will be taking ownership of their category administration and technical queries.

- Support the Customer Trading Manager in delivering the customer focused strategy to deliver growth in customer sales, profit and market share in line with the 3 year plan

- Support the Category Management team with administration to complete the delivery of customer/category plans.

- Produce reports and ensure accurate data is provided to help understand the trading performance of our customers and categories and therefore any action required.

- Support the Category Manager in managing the supplier base to ensure they meet all of our key performance requirements including compliance, data, and administration of supplier terms.

- Work with the Product Supply teams to optimise product availability whilst ensuring cost effective management of slow, dead or exit stock from the business
