We are looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst to support in all contract, project and service activities to ensure that the service is performing commercially for our Network Service...
Role Purpose:
You will fulfill a key role for Networks in the Commercial team, by supporting the end to end service, projects and contracts. You will work collaboratively with other company professionals with your main objective being to maximise savings and minimise spending for the Network Service.
This is role is important because it will provide insights and analysis to support commercial activities and enable key decisions relating to the end to end Network Service.
You will be required to;
Supply a professional commercial and contract analysis service, using relevant all available information internally and externally, applying measures relating performance derived from the end to end service teams activities to senior stakeholders.
Prepare all commercial and non-financial information, routine and adhoc, using all available sources and investigating new sources, some may be externally provided data sources.
Provide variance analysis to any commercial, contract or service level measures, providing detailed cost breakdown and written commentary as required for better understanding, in a relevant format that is suitable for various stakeholder groups.
Provide contracts support; review of existing and new, contract terms and obligations, service level agreements, contract change notes, costing & billing matrices, including analysis of the pricing model.
Provide supplier review support; in ongoing service reviews, negotiation of change request with the supplier and ensure that the price quotations for any changes are in favor of the company.
Analyse all costs that are processed, ensuring correct pricing and billing criteria has been applied accordingly. To apply knowledge of standard contract terms, including hourly, lumps sum, not-to-exceed and how they are applied in the billing process. Assist in the investigation of any billing or variation issues.
Make recommendations to continuously improve the end to end service and to update any processes or ways of working.

NVQ Level 3 - Diploma in Business Administration or NVQ Level 3 - Diploma in Accounting (QCF)
IACCM - Contract & Commercial Mgmt - part qualified
Sound commercial acumen - able to query value in projects, solutions, change and scope.
Knowledge of standard contract terms, including hourly, lumps sum, not-to-exceed and how they are applied in the billing process.
Ability to analyse large complex data sets and support decisions.
Strong IT skills and advance use of Excel.
While not essential, the following would be desireable...
Degree - A bachelor's degree in accounting, business or engineering.
Accounting - ACA / ACCA / CIMA working towards a qualification.
Large Change or Transformation experience either from a Network technology delivery or managed service / complex contract implementation.
Understanding of technology platforms, network and telephony that service the business processes of the end to end Service.
