Commercial Pricing Manager
Location - Based in Chorley with travel to Crick (Jct 18 - M1)

We have a new and exciting opportunity within our Plumbing and Heating division to join the Commercial team as a Commercial Pricing Manager.

The Role - 

To proactively manage and own the PFP Brand Product and Price File. Managing the end to end pricing process from supplier to customer. Taking accountability for a small team to deliver our gross profit target.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Support the category managers in the timely delivery of information to and from supplier to enable cost price pass through and accurate product file data is keyed and recorded, including sell out prices to the customer
  • Support the category managers to interpret the end to end supplier trading terms to ensure DealTrack is loaded and accrues rebates correctly as per the K8 price file.
  • Liaise with marketing to ensure promo pricing, product data, and manufacturer credit recovery is in place to support all relevant activity including pricing on line, promo set up and price guide support.
  • Ownership and management of the Commercial team negotiation and purchase savings tracker
  • Develop and communicate tracking reports to ensure adherence to SLA of the supplier cost process to include weekly copper and commodity price movements.Ensure reports and checks are in place to cross check supplier price changes have loaded as expected.
  • Liaise with the finance team on purchase ledger issues, supplier rebate accruals, channel and promo support claims ( both costed and offline )
  • Management of the import cost prices from overseas sourcing, ensure they are maintained in line with material and currency movements. Support supply chain with adherence to negotiated criteria and average cost integrity.
  • Support the sales and commercial teams to propose and implement margin management activity. Support the marketing team for the price guide build, promo set up through to customer payment and supplier support recovery
What are you looking for? 
  • Educated to A level standard or a Degree
  • Commercial and financial budget management
  • Previous experience working with Building and maintaining processes
  • Stakeholder management, internal and external
  • Creation and utilisation of Management information to guide workflows
  • Appreciation of wider functional processes from commercial perspective, such as Finance, Product Supply, Manufacturing and Sales
  • IT Computer literacy advanced level - excel & google with Use of Google business products
  • Detailed analytical skills
