The Momentum Programme will replace current software systems in a number of functional areas of the businesses and will be deployed in a staged basis. Due to its scale and complexity, the programme requires a great deal of rigour in order to ensure a successful deliver.

The role we're recruiting for…

This role is responsible for owning and delivering the Communications strategy and plan for the Momentum programme.

Key Responsibilities

As the Communication and Engagement Business Partner you will be responsible for the delivery of communication and engagement activity for the Momentum programme; support and advise on associated communications to the programme deployment teams to ensure alignment and consistency of messages.

You will Support the OD Projects and Momentum Lead to develop and deliver the appropriate content needed to communicate the Change Strategy to all the businesses and functions within Travis Perkins Group.

Working alongside key stakeholders you will ensure communication messaging is appropriate and delivered in a timely manner and source feedback to enable consistency and improvement.

You will plan and coordinate communication events as well as leading the logistics/communication for business briefings, leadership meetings and ad hoc meetings.

This role will develop different communication channels in order to deliver key messages across businesses and functions.

You will hold the organisation and management for event planning and logistics at key times to support the Momentum strategy and the businesses strategy.

This role will work closely with OD Projects and Momentum Programme Lead on Communication Strategy and Plan.

What we are looking for:

• Excellent written and verbal skills demonstrated by academic achievement in English Language
• Previous experience in programme  communication 
• You will hold the ability to judge what information should be kept confidential 
• Personable and engaging
• Proactive self starter 
• Understands the importance of a customer focus and the notion of concept customer 
• You will hold the ability to work in a fast paced team and work under pressure
• Hold strong ability to build relationships
