Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Managed Services division of the Travis Perkins Group as a Customer Operations Manager in the North West - Liverpool/Manchester area mainly. Managed Services provides contract solutions for local authorities and the housing community. We offer a bespoke service to suit the needs of the customer and are geared around contractual and operational solutions, fitting in with the network or branch facility they are supporting. In this role you will have total responsibility for the successful mobilisation and ongoing operational management support of assigned Managed Services projects.

  • Agree all product prices, range and requirements with the client prior to the commencement date in accordance with the tender submission and with the approval/sign off of the Commercial Director. Complete price and range suitability reviews regularly, and in accordance with any contractual agreement and approval/sign off of the Commercial Director, ensuring profitability is maintained at budget levels or above
  • Ensure all supplier support agreements are maintained and renewed
  • Ensure that the Company meets all of its contractual obligations during the lifetime of the project, increasing the likelihood of contract extension at the point of re-tender
  • Support the implementation of all initiatives relating to continuous improvement, (e.g. IT integration, mobile working, product switching, service delivery, environmental, waste, etc), ensuring that a record of this is kept for re-tender purposes
  • Work with the TPMS team to mobilise new contracts and stores
  • Coordinate with and support the store / branch network at TPMS customer supply locations

To be successful in this role you will be an excellent communicator and have the ability to relate to a wide range of individuals. Along with great organisation and negotiation skills, you’ll also be customer focused with sound commercial awareness!
