Are you an experienced Sales individual, looking for a new challenge or maybe looking to move into a new sector. We are looking for an inspirational Customer Sales Advisor to join our Travis Perkins Palmers Green branch. 

Our Palmers Green branch is fast paced, with an experienced team of over 30 colleagues, so if you don't have our product knowledge don’t worry, you will be in good hands. Our success is built on strong relationships with our colleagues, suppliers and customers so it’s essential you build strong relationships quickly.  

Hours: Monday- Friday 7.30am-5.00pm  and every other Saturday 8.00am-12.00pm

What experience do you need?
Previous experience within our sector is advantageous but it's not essential, you may come from a similar role. e.g Telesales, Customer Call Centres, Telemarketing or any other sales related role. We are interested in your transferable skills, Exceptional Sales, Great Customer Service and Drive. 

What will I be doing?
No one day is the same as the next in Travis Perkins branch life, and with your new found product knowledge and understanding of our business, here are a few pointers:
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and effectively as part of a team.
  • Achieve sales and profit targets from your allocated existing customers that are currently dormant and for new business that you seek out. 
  • You will be responsible for finding and developing new business. 
  • Always looking for opportunities to improve relationships to develop profitable sales.
  • Provide excellent customer service post deliveries and respond to emails. 
  • Serve Customers on the trade counter, respond to emails and handle incoming/outgoing calls.
