If you’d enjoy being part of a busy and fast paced business with great benefits, and plenty of opportunities for career progression – At BSS we are looking for an Demand Planning Manager to be based from home with at least 2 days at our Magna Park based Distribution Centre.
What you’ll do
Working as part of our senior leadership team, you will take full responsibility for ensuring the stock budget, including the stock health budget is achieved and availability targets are met in our two NDCs and across our branch network. Working closely with the NDC operation teams you will ensure supplier deliveries meet our health and safety standards as well as meeting our supplier manual delivery requirements and resolve any challenges. You will ensure the cost to serve across the Supply Chain and Branch Operations is kept low through effective collaboration with Supply Chain, Branch and Commercial colleagues.

Can you plan/influence product introduction to ensure product arrives at the right time, in the right place and to budget?
Do you have the ability to Build and develop business relationships?
Have you defined, scoped and implemented an S&OP process?
Can you inspire a team to deliver outstanding customer service exceeding product availability targets within stock budget. Ensure a planning and replenishment process is in place and leveraged by the team to plan inventory & replenishment and project stock availability and inventory levels. improve results through gap analysis and PDCA approach?
Do you have experience in overseeing new or replacement product introductions?
Have you implemented commercial or business driven branch ranging projects, promotional or seasonal activity from concept through to implementation within NDCs and branches?
Can you work collaboratively with other teams to understand the total cost of product introduction/replacement?
