Researching, creating and editing a variety of content including blogs, buying guides and style guides
During the research phase of content ideation, you’ll need to use tools such as Google Keyword Planner to understand what search terms to target
Optimising all content for Google by ensuring SEO best practices are followed
Ensuring all copy onsite aligns to our brand tone of voice and brand guidelines.
Occasionally supporting the Digital Marketing and Online Trading teams with other copywriting as required
This role offers the opportunity of flexibility, based predominantly from home, but you should be within commutable distance of our newly refurbished offices in Crick, Northamptonshire.
This means you could be based in Corby, Coventry, Hinkley, Kettering, Leamington Spa, Leicester, Loughborough, Lutterworth, Market Harborough, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Northampton, Nuneaton, Oundle, Peterborough, Rugby, Rushden, Tamworth, Wellingborough, as well as Crick itself.

Required skills and competencies:
Proven experience in digital copywriting (at least 1-year experience or relevant qualification)
Excellent writing skills
Excellent attention to detail
Familiar with content ideation; the creative process of finding a subject, title and angle to write about
Basic knowledge of SEO preferred
Systems knowledge (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Hybris CMS and Decibel) preferred.
