Are you commercially aware of the ability to deliver and drive great content? 

We’re currently recruiting for a permanent Digital Merchandiser to join our fantastic, rapidly expanding Digital team here at Travis Perkins.

This is a hybrid role where you will work from home but also meet up with your team / stakeholders 1 to 2 times a week. 

As a digital merchandiser, you will be responsible for the day to day trading and enrichment of our digital content. You’ll also have the opportunity to be involved in some exciting projects! Collectively you and the team will contribute to delivering revenue and margin targets for the ecommerce function at Travis Perkins.

What you’ll do 

- Supporting the digital trading team in achieving the digital sales KPI's in a specific category, e.g. Powertools, Workwear, Landscaping..
- Ensure all product information (including descriptions, price, features & benefits and imagery) on our websites is 100% optimised and accurate to drive online sales through all channels. Consideration of SEO is paramount.
- Generate and understand reporting on your digital category performance to optimise online sales performance and prioritise initiatives
- Track competitor and market trends and prioritise activities and initiatives that take advantage of opportunities
- Report on digital category performance to other parts of the business
- Daily monitoring and management of the search, personalisation and recommendation tools to drive conversion, average order value and customer retention
- Working closely with the wider digital team and commercial teams to ensure all digital marketing is effective and customer journeys are optimised
- Ensure all product taxonomy, categorisation and meta-data is present and correct and that the products are on-boarded and removed in a timely manner

Is this you? 

- Strong background in Web Trading / Online Trading / Digital Merchandising from an existing on-line retailer
- Passion about creating an amazing customer experience through merchandising products effectively
- A positive, can-do attitude towards learning and work
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics

Prefered but not required
- Existing knowledge of building materials or B2B trading
- Working understanding of Contentsquare, Bloomreach and Hybris
