Are you an ambitious individual with an understanding around front end coding gained from a degree or work experience? If so, we may have the perfect opportunity for you. 

We are recruiting for a Digital Optimisation Specialist to join our team based in Crick. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team with huge online growth targets, passionate about digital and creating amazing customer experiences. You will be working as part of the optimisation team to deliver a variety of A/B and MVT experiments using the MVT platform interface and custom coding skills where required (HTML/CSS/Javascript/jQuery).

This role will suit an individual who has gained a qualification related to front-end coding, or has some experience of front end coding in a workplace environment. 

Key accountabilities include: 

Developing experiments based on briefs, clarifying understanding where required, in order to deliver an excellent customer experience and drive conversion rate across the City Plumbing and Bathrooms websites.
Interpreting & understanding experiment hypotheses from briefs to create relevant measurement frameworks from within the MVT platform.
Conducting thorough cross-browser and device QA of test builds, auditing and debugging experiences.
Building relationships with various stakeholders to understand business requirements/ objectives and communicate experiment performance.
Ability to understand the performance of experiments and make recommendations to improve them through iterations. 
Ensuring that experiments are created in priority order, following and updating the testing plan and backlog.

Whilst training will be provided in this role, it would be an advantage to have the following: 

Excellent experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML & CSS
Proficient in Web Optimisation/Experimentation tools (Optimizely/ Monetate or similar)
Experience using web analytics platforms (Google Analytics or similar)
Knowledge of A/B testing and experimentation principles, best-practices and techniques
Autonomy: you'll be responsible for test development and maintenance
Strong understanding of optimisation and testing
A/B and MVT testing knowledge
Creative and analytical mind-set
Project management skills and relationship building
Passion for creating value driving, best in class digital customer journeys
