We, at Travis Perkins have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an experienced Digital Trading Manager to join our forward thinking, fast paced and dynamic Digital Team based at Lakeside, Northampton. In this role you will be responsible for online merchandising on our website to lead customers to relevant products, maximising conversion along the customer journey and making sure that every click counts.  If you already have proven analytical and problem solving skills and are interested in a developing role within an ever growing team then we’d love to hear from you.

You will report into our Head of Digital and work closely with the Category and Marketing Teams to ensure all pages across our site are effectively merchandised to support the online range, including identifying best sellers. Utilising your strong analytical skills you will work with Web and Finance Analysts to compile reports to measure the success of various merchandising activities and show progress against KPIs. This will allow you to optimise the customer journey and shape new analytics requirements.

Alongside the above you will also be responsible for:

• Managing the homepage, category landing pages, site navigation and other designated areas.

• Agreeing clearance strategy with category teams to ensure maximise profitability.

• Reviewing products prior to upload and conduct regular audits of the site to check all information is accurate.

• Setting product classifications prior to upload and undertake spot checks once live to ensure product placement is logical to the customer and everything is correctly classified and merchandised.

• Influencing senior key stakeholders to improve the proposition and build a successful cross functional network.

• Developing the processes and procedures necessary to run efficient online ranging and merchandising, to include new line processes, seasonal range processes, end of life etc.

• Continuously reviewing and improving site processes e.g. search engine performance, keyword redirects, recommendations engine etc.
