Travis Perkins, Tool Hire have a great opportunity for a Hire Team Leader to join our Direct Hire department. The main responsibility of this role is to lead and develop a team of up to eight within the function to support both internal and external customers.  You and the team will be developing new relationships with customers and suppliers to increase revenue and profit performance of the department.

You will be developing the team to be fluid across all product groups, so that they are able to seek new opportunities in both process and markets. Leading from the front, you will ensure a first class service delivery for our customers and ensure growth opportunities are maximised.

What you'll do?

No one day is the same in Tool Hire/Direct Hire, but here are a few pointers:
- You will be responsible for recruiting, leading and developing a team within the Direct Hire function
- Our success is built on strong relationships with our colleagues and customers so it’s essential you can coach and develop a team to deliver the highest standards of service
- Regularly reviewing the team structure to ensure delivery against changing needs of the business and it’s customers
- Fully define roles and responsibilities and embed a regular process of review for the team in order to drive greater efficiency and performance
- Engage with Key suppliers to develop our trading relationship and identify new opportunities to improve revenue and profit.
- Customer reporting both Adhoc and regular to be completed by the team leader ensuring that any customer SLA’s are adhered to
Management of the teams budget

Is this you? 
Previous experience within the Plant / Hire Industry is desirable but It doesn't matter what sector you come from, we just need transferable skills - Inspirational Leadership, Operational Management, Sales Experience, Great Customer Service and Commercial Acumen.
