eCommerce Business Analyst

The Digital Delivery team at Travis Perkins work alongside our 27 businesses to develop innovative and enjoyable experiences for our customers. We are now looking for a Business Analyst to work closely with our technical and business colleagues, bringing your experience, enthusiasm and energy to our growing team.

The successful candidate will have several years’ experience working with Product Owners, Scrum teams and Customers, using a range of analysis techniques to qualify requirements in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.

We’ll need you to:

• Build close relationships with key business stakeholders, understanding our customers and identifying opportunities to improve their experience with our TP brands.

• Capture and document detailed requirements to support prioritisation of backlog (typically using User Story format) maintaining traceability against delivered solution

• Work with a range of scrum teams (some geographically dispersed), role-modelling senior analyst behaviours and technique to ensure consistency of deliverables

• Advocate principles of Agile development and continuous improvement

You’ll be someone who is:

• Experienced at working in a fast-paced product development organisation

• Confident and engaging when practicing analysis, able to draw from a range of skills and styles appropriate to the situation and audience

• Approachable and enjoys coaching junior members of the analyst team

• Self-motivated and autonomous in their working style

• A clear communicator able to articulate complicated concepts through various mediums

• Capable of working across multiple delivery streams on complicated customer facing journeys

We’re happy if you have:

• IIBA, BCS Diploma, Six Sigma or Agile Product Owner Certificate

• experience of using Jira & Confluence, Hybris and Google suite
