What Are We Looking For? 

To take instruction on minor adaption works. Prepare specification and obtain tenders. Obtain the necessary permissions and supervise works through to completion. 

To supervise grounds maintenance and snow/ice precaution measures.To issue and manage the Permit to Work system. Continue to improve service level across the site through innovation and regular performance reviews of approved contractors. 

Manage the external team of TP approved contractors and consultants to ensure that adequate resources are in place to achieve delivery and lead and advance the professional team in executing projects. Manage the external team so they achieve their contracted responsibilities against KPI’s and SLA’s. All under guidance of Group Maintenance and Facilities Manager or Senior Group Building Surveyor 

Liaise with and manage key supplier contracts including but not limited to CHEP & storage media. Ensure compliance is maintained with annual audits, maintaining effective Branch and Supplier relationships to ensure accurate detail is captured and recorded.

This role is an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team, leading by example across all aspects of culture and taking an active interest in all site activities. The role holder will need to be able to communicate competently and effectively with Senior Management, Management and Colleagues alike along with external professional teams and other statutory bodies.  

To provide 24/7 service to the facility and its users. Produce, challenge and control specifications and tender documents and comply at all times with the TP standard contract for construction works.
