Fast Track Management Programme

We’re looking for Management Trainees to learn, grow and develop into future business leaders. Join BSS this October, if you want to start your career and get on the fast track to management, our one to two-year Fast Track Management Programme is for you. 
 
The programme
You’ll follow a 2 year programme that has been designed to make you ready to be an Assistant Branch Manager at one of our BSS branches upon completion. Not only will it accelerate your career, it will also reward you with a nationally recognised qualification.

Right from the start of your career with us, you’ll be supported in your development. You’ll join our Service and Know How Programme for the first 12 months where you’ll build up technical knowledge of our product ranges and a strong understanding of our business so that you can confidently and safely serve our customers and develop lasting and profitable relationships with them.

In year 2 you’ll focus on developing your skills as a leader. You’ll learn about different leadership techniques, allowing you to pick the one you think will work best for you. 
 
What you’ll need
We’re not looking for any previous experience. You’ll just need to be energetic and ambitious with the ability to learn fast, think smart and communicate confidently with people at all levels. With a strong focus on building strong customer relationships and the drive to continue learning and developing, you’ll have the flexibility to work in different locations to discover all you can about our business.

Finer details 
Hours of work: Our working hours also offer a great work life balance - you will cover 40 hours per week between 7.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Most of our customers choose to enjoy their weekends and bank holidays which means you can too!

Salary: Starting salary £18000 + Bonus + 22 days holiday plus bank holidays + discounts and access to health and wellbeing advice and support. 

Location: This position will be based at our BSS branch in Stockton-on-Tees but during your programme you will spend time within other branches within your region,  but willing to travel to other sites, and be flexible to travel to different locations
