Finance Accounts Assistant

What will you do? 

This role provides support to creating management accounts for the BSS business, incorporating control and

maintenance of the balance sheet.

Some accountabilities of the role: 

• Involved in the month end process - accruals, prepayments and assisting with the preparation and posting of journals

• Assisting with P&L costs reviews

• Updating cash books and completion of bank reconciliations for GBP and foreign bank accounts

• Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring balances and movements are understood and supported with backing schedules

• Month end reporting including intercompany matrix 

• Provide support and analysis to a variety of stakeholders within the BSS business and wider group

• Support with External auditors, providing the necessary support and documentation

• Ad hoc tasks as required by the Finance Manager/Head of Finance
