We’re recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join the General Merchanting division based in Northampton.  We are currently looking for a Property Finance Analyst to join our progressive and professional finance team and help manage the activities of the groups property portfolio.  

What you’ll do

As the Property Finance Analyst you will help manage a range of activities for the groups property portfolio which has 2000 properties which includes 400 freeholds. You will be an analyst that can demonstrate experience within a large company, that can deliver high-quality month processes for property Finance. 

You’ll be responsible for:
- Assisting with timely and accurate production of the monthly accounts. 
- Prepare and complete reconciliations 
- To ensure the property leasing system is kept up to date, liaising with other departments to reflect any new or modified leases.
- To answer property queries from branch and business unit management in a timely manner.
- Assisting in preparing budgets for property costs such as rent, service charges, and rates which will be charged to the branches.
- Maintenance of the external property database, ensuring any corrections are made in a timely manner in order to recharge to the branches.
- Ad hoc projects as required to meet the needs of the business.
